Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Virtual Private Network or VPN is fast becoming
a major networking technology. With this a public telecommunication
infrastructure, such as the Internet, can be used to provide remote
offices or individual users with secure access to their organization's
network. In this data can be shared or transferred between two
networks (routers), between two servers, or between a client and
a server. The goal of a VPN is to provide the organization with
the same capabilities, but at a much lower cost.
